ExtraOrdinary! | CLOUD by Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett | Exploratorium
What shapes do you see in this cloud?
Can you work with someone else to create lightning on the surface of the cloud? The artwork invites you to collaborate with others to animate this electrical cloud, inspired by the huge clouds in the wide-open prairie skies of Alberta (the Canadian province where the artists live). It contains thousands of burned-out lightbulbs, collected from different locations CLOUD has visited. These frosted incandescent bulbs catch the light from energy-efficient LED bulbs inside the cloud. The flickering light moving across and through the cloud is created by visitors playing the role of “puppeteers,” pulling the dangling chains to turn the lights on and off. What do the chains remind you of?
Canadian artists Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett use familiar objects in unfamiliar ways to make interactive sculptures. Their work-which explores collaboration, collective action, and how light affects social spaces-uses found materials to speak to the mass of human experience.
CLOUD was originally commissioned for Nuit Blanche Calgary by Alberta University of the Arts and The City of Calgary.

Sorry, but what the guy says about mighty CO2 (only those mol. from westerners car`s + heatings) is JUNK SCIENCE. Nothing fits historically. The mere effects one may see from quest. ice bores is, that CO2 gasses out of the ocean when warmer, which is a triviality. Further, Arrhenius (factor 4) and Keeling were totally wrong, the latter did extreme cherry picking of data to underline his wrong theory. Pettenkofer studied chem. CO2 measurement in the first half of 1800. 1830 he measured 400 ppm. His method was used for 100 y and it decreases and rises to another huge peak in 1941. Between 1939-1941 they even discovered the winter (high) + summer (low) cycle, as well as a dependence of CO2 conc. on moon phase (tides). The temp. values did behave arbitrarily with no real correlation to CO2, except the peak 1941 having also a temp. peak.

Hi, what is the actual Hz frequency of Beryllium?

I'm allergic to both cow's milk and soy and have been exploring cheesemaking and tofu-making using alternative ingredients... separately. All of a sudden it hit me--they are the same thing! So I duly googled, "Are tofu and cheese the same thing?" and this video came up. If you're like me, and looking for alternatives you can make at home, I highly recommend the UA-cam channel: Mary's Test Kitchen. One caveat I feel compelled to add--a lot of vegan cheesemakers use a substance called Rejuvelac to flavor vegan cheeses. Please stay away from making this. They often say "it's been made for thousands of years in other cultures," but that is not true. It is very dangerous uncontrolled wild fermentation. It was invented in the early to mid 20th century by a woman who was proven to be a charlatan in a court of law multiple times (she pretended to be a physician). Be careful out there and stay curious! Science is the answer!

Terrific presentation, but needs more pix of fabulous vanadinite specimens from Morocco!
"scientists are still bargaining" an unfortunate reality. still appealing towards the same systems and same people to solve the issues they've created. appealing to the conscious of oil conglomerates and politicians who are funded by them to get us out of the crisis they caused is nonsensical.

So sad the shop vanished from Covent Garden, London. Genius man.
As an alternative interpretation, this guy just showed either than the bottom of the wine glass is a black hole, or that the effect of the black hole or a body is to lens light through a change in refractive index of space. With a little bit of thought, a capable person can show that all the laws of refraction can be used to verify that the idea that light is refracted due to a change in refractive index of space is supported by the data. This is especially true when one considers that a photon has no mass. It takes some thought, but give it a shot and then decide for yourself which idea better supports the phenomenon that is demonstrated in this video.
These people have a connection with ancient knowledge, same as the red paint people and many others around the world.
Quisiera participar 🎉❤
I was raised catholic and later fell into Christianity and from there furthered my knowledge and found all the different religions, I was told before I was apche decent by my grandmother. But dismissed it because of how people were raised to believe that the battle between the natives and spanish and European was a long time ago 25 year is not a long time I'm almost 30 now and am just starting to learn more an more about my native culture and i truly believe there is a way to get 90% if not all the land back that was stole sense 1890 or 1900
great video
I feel like this would make more sense if I were high rn
The wisdom is just incredible. May these teachings and this language only grow in strength and spread throughout the world.
Engineers were so intelligent becak before they had computers. They worked with slide rules and measurements and didn't rely on anything more sophisticated. And mostly they were men who loved the job, they were fascinated by solving problems (like Joseph Strauss and the Golden Gate Bridge). Now it seems as though it's not about solving problems and accomplishing some fine and longlasting for future generations, it;s about building something forever using tax dollars and making it dynamically obsolescent. No one takes pride now. And now they hire according toe DIE, I mean, DEI guidelines, there is no interest in doing things as well as they can be done, and as efficiently as they can be done. It's sad. The use of gravity, just like the Roman aqueducts, are so simple and infallible and require NO electricty or dependence on computers

is it normal to literally taste what i smell?
On the moon. a solar eclipse can be seen .
So lets get the obvious out of the way, this woman just claimed the sun is 400 times bigger then the moon, that is patently absurdly incorrect as you can fit over 1 million earths in the total area the sun occupies, that would mean that the sun is like several million times bigger then the moon, yet this expert says a mere 400
